Infographics and info-posters, also known as digital posters, are all around us. They are being used by businesses, academia, and others to improve their message through use of graphic elements, but is there a difference between these two forms of communication? Let’s look at that by examining their definitions, purpose, contents, audience, and design.
Infographics and info-posters are two different methods of communication. Although different, we should keep in mind that “the method itself is never right or wrong, The only thing that warrants a value judgement is the method’s effectiveness for conveying information to an audience.”
